Welcome to All
We welcome everyone affected by baby loss to our support meetings; this includes LGBT+ people, people of colour, single parents, couples, extended family members, family friends, those whose baby died while being carried by a surrogate, those whose baby died whilst waiting to adopt and anyone else who has been affected in any way.
Befrienders
Our befrienders are all parents who have suffered a baby loss themselves. They have been specially trained in how to listen and support others affected by baby loss.
Adult Only Meetings
Our support meetings are informal; drop in and seek support and advice from our trained befrienders or just join us to meet other bereaved families and chat freely without judgement or taboo. Anything said in our meetings is treated with full confidentiality.
If you would like more information or to chat with us via email first, please feel free to email us at support.norfolk@sandsvolunteer.org.uk or via our Facebook page for the latest updates.
Family Friendly Meets
These are usually held on the first Friday every other month in term time at Cafe Bar Marzano. Dates in school holidays can vary, as does the location.
This meet is for bereaved families and their rainbow babies/children or bereaved siblings. A chance to meet over coffee and cake. Our befrienders are trained to offer support and provide a listening ear, or just come for the company.
Cafe Bar Marzano
The Cafe offers a great range of hot and cold drinks, home made cakes, lunches and snacks and can cater for all dietary requirements. Feel free to message us with any questions or if you’d like one of us to meet you outside first.
No need to book, just turn up when you like and join us for coffee, cake and a chat. For the latest information, please follow our facebook or instagram pages. You can also send us an email on support.norfolk@sandsvolunteer.org.uk if you are interested in attending.
Family meeting dates 2026, from 10am – 12pm:
12th September, 7th November.
Please check our social media pages for the latest information.
